11/10/2021 Cpl.Edward J. Bova & 246th Engineers VFW Post 3323 hosted Marine Corps Birthday for Toys for Tots fundraiser
The day started with a delicious breakfast prepred the famous chefs
Jeff & Dianne Yashikawa. The cost 1 wrapped toy or a donation to
Toys for Tots. The celebration continued during the day with various
fund raisers designed to seperate the Marines from their dollars for a
very good cause. The official fund-raiser culminated with the
traditional cake cutting where the oldest Marine present passes the
first slice to the youngest Marine present. 4 Marines from the Livonia
recruiting Office in Blues joined us and participated iin the ceremony
reinforcing the ideal of once a Marine always a Marine.
